Failed to connect to service HostServiceInfo: log énorme

J’ai récemment migré ma prod en debian12/jeedom 4.5.3 et j’ai switché du plugin-googlecast au plugin-ttscast (dernière version)
Tout marche très bien mais le deamon remplit ma log en permanence avec des messages d’erreur sur mes devices en veille, certains bizarrement plus que d’autres:
MiBox4, TvBox, TV LG, Google NestHub (Cuisine - le seul qui ne n’est jamais) cf plus bas

Je sais que je ne suis pas le 1er à te le signaler mais c’est très pénible et ca charge le serveur inutilement. J’ai identifié la source dans la lib pychromecast/socket_client.py
Pourrais-tu catcher ces exceptions et les transformer en WARNING pour qu’on puisse choisir de les ignorer?

Oui, ces périphériques qui passent en veille génèrent toutes ces erreurs :confused:

Pour diminuer le nombre de logs, tu peux déjà (si pas déjà fait) commencer par passer le niveau de log “Chromecast” sur Warning (c’est ce que j’ai chez moi, car mon niveau de log par défaut est INFO) dans la page de configuration du plugin :

Ca en enlève pas mal, mais pas celle-ci, sauf si tu passes le niveau en “Critical”, mais dans ce cas, tu vas passer à côté d’éventuelles autres “vraies” erreurs :frowning:

Je me note de regarder ce qu’il serait possible de faire pour intercepter ces logs ERROR de “non connexion” à un équipement, avec sans doute une option dans la config du plugin pour ne pas les afficher.

Voici ce qui sera dans la prochaine version (encore des tests croisés à faire pour valider que cela fonctionne bien comme je le souhaite :slight_smile: ) :

Une page “modale” dédiée dans la configuration du plugin, sous forme de tableau permettant d’ajouter des “pattern” de message de logs qui seront filtrés (c’est une chaine reconnaissable à recopier à partir des logs, comme par exemple `Failed to connect to service`) et de définir le “nouveau” niveau de logs souhaité (les “- - -” c’est pour supprimer le message de log, dis autrement, il ne sera pas loggé du tout)

Comme ca au moins : C’est totalement personnalisable :rofl: chacun pourra totalement refondre ses logs du plugin s’il le souhaite.

Je ne suis pas chez moi je n’ai pas pu tester.

J’ai passé le chromecast et le plugin en critical, il reste quelques messages par jour mais ça a considérablement réduit
