Solution to Sporadic Qubino Connection

I don’t know if this is the right procedure, but the thread was closed and I didn’t have time to thank you and share the results, so I’m creating another one.

Thanks, Madcow. I’ve updated all the elements to 13.0. The procedure is to rename the new firmware with a .bin extension. It seems to have eliminated the random power-ons of the modules.

Now the problem I have is that some Selly modules end up dead, and I don’t know how to recover them remotely. When it happens, I reset them at the client’s house and add them again. Do you have any guide or procedure for healing/recovering Z-Wave nodes?

Thanks

Hello,

Usually if a module is reported as dead, you can ping it to make it alive (module page > node button > Actions). After that if success you can try to heal the node.
However, you have to fix the root cause in priority.

Correct, and that’s what I did, but there’s no answer. Would you know how to assess the cause? Thanks Madcow.
